Clearing up your acne might seem like something that you can do with
cleansers and products that you can buy over the counter. However,
that’s not always the case. Over the counter products can help, but
they don’t solve the root of the problem, which is the toxins in your
body that are causing the acne in the first place. The outside of your
skin is one of the points that toxins exit your body if they are backed
up into your blood. Usually, the best thing that you can do to control
acne is to detox your body. This includes cleansing your bowels.
Your colon’s job is to rid yourself of waste. But, if it fails at
its task, some of that waste stays in your body, and that can lead to a
higher level of toxins within. Usually these aren’t serious, and don’t
cause dangerous health issues. However, they can lead to minor
problems, such as a loss of energy, or oily or otherwise trouble skin.
Therefore, it’s much better for your skin to make sure that your
digestive system is working at full capacity, to keep these toxins from
clogging your pores on their way out.
Acne Detox can be difficult, especially for someone who doesn’t
generally follow the detox diet. However, it’s well worth it, not only
for your skin, but to help you feel better overall. When you do a detox
diet for acne, you eat things that aren’t normally present in diets,
such as fiber, fruits and leafy vegetables. You also have to avoid
caffeine, dairy, nicotine and red meat. Detoxing shouldn’t be done if
you are under a doctor’s care for something else, and that can include
taking birth control, at least not without checking with your doctor
first. You don’t want your overall health to be interfered with due to
your detox program.
Problems rarely occur, but it’s better to be safe than sorry.
Clearing up your acne is important to your overall well-being, but you
want to make sure that you are doing it in a way that your body can
handle.
